WWE Survivor Series Weekend Predictions.

The 30th annual survivor series WWW special is taking place this Sunday. As one of the WWE’s big four events, alongside the royal rumble, Wrestlemania and summerslam, it contains wrestlers from both the Raw and Smackdown Live rosters. Here are my predictions for the matches so far as well as NXT takeover the night before.

Takeover Toronto predictions

TM-61 vs The Authors of Pain: Dusty Rhodes tag team classic finals.

Assuming that The Revival retain their tag team titles I expect TM 61 to win this as it would set them up as challengers and give them momentum, however it would completely kill the image of The authors, who have been positioned as killers. I would like to think that they would value the more experienced TM 61 but we’ll have to see. This is the hardest one to call I think

Bobby Roode vs Tye Dillinger

Let me preface this by saying I want Dillinger to win. But I think Bobby Roode will win to put him in position to face Nakamura in future. However Tye really deserves a win and even if he loses I expect him to get called up soon. Also as a little side prediction, I think Roderick Strong will confront Roode after the match.

The Revival (c) vs #DIY: Tag Team Titles. 2 out of 3 falls

After last time these two teams met I fully expect this to be the best match of the entire weekend. I think The Revival will win with 2 falls to 1 by cheating. as is their want. I think This will be thr backbone of the show and I hope it gets given time after their last match. I then expect Ciampa to turn on Gargano after their loss. Or the other way around as a shock

Asuka (c) vs Mickie James: Women’s title

Asuka. She will win. I don’t know who’ll face hrer next, I’m hoping Candice lerae if she gets signed for this tournament they’re doing but I don’t know.

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Samoa Joe: Heavyweight Title.

I think Shinsuke will win this one d joe will get called up after the show, maybe to replace Shane McMahon but who knows. Hopefully there’s no I juries this time. I think the last match ended prematurely after Joe broke his jaw. But I think it will be a good strongstyle match and Joe will get a good send off after the match.

WWE survivor series predictions .
The 30th annual survivor series WWW special is taking place this Sunday. As one of the WWE’s big four events, alongside the royal rumble, wrestlemania and summerslam, it contains wrestlers from both the Raw and Smackdown Live rosters. Here are my predictions for the matches so far.

5 on 5 men’s elimination match. Raw vs Smackdown live.
The teams are as such. Smackdown Live: Shane McMahon, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose and Aj Styles. Raw: Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
I think raw wins this one. As WWE desperately wants to get the entirety of the Raw team over bar Jericho. Where as they only need to get Corbin over for Smackdown and that’s unlikely to ever happen. I think similar to 2014 survivor series, someone will turn on their team; I think that’s most likely to be Styles or Owens. Leaving the other team to win. Smackdown  wins in my opinion but how they get to that. I have no clue

5 on 5 women’s elimination match. Raw vs Smackdown live.
The teams are as such. Smackdown Live: Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella. Raw: Nia Jax, Bayley, Charlotte, Alicia Fox and Sasha Banks.
This is the most curious of the three elimination matches as both sides are arguably just as good. Raw’s division is perceived better by the fans. What with them arguably having better workers and such in Bayley and Charlotte. But Smackdown has been booked much better, Lunch vs Bliss has been a highlight of their show. I think Bayley will be made to look strong maybe getting the last elimination to win but who knows . Overall I think Raw Wins leaving it to a decider at the end of the night.

5 on 5 tag team elimination match Raw vs SmackdownLive.
The teams are as such. Smackdown: The Hype bros, American Alpha, The Usos, Heath Slater and Rhyno,… Raw: The new day, Enzo and Cass, Sheamus and Cesaro, The good brothers and the shining stars.
This one is hardest to call for me as arguably each team is as bad as the other. If anything Raw needs this one more than Smackdown, a testament to Ryan Ward’s writing skills. But Raw is always perceived as stronger. In that case I would say Smackdown wins with American Alpha getting the final pin. Out of all of them this is most likely to have a lockout but I still don’t think there will be as neither team needs it. Smackdown wins

The Miz  vs Sami Zayn for the IC title
It seems pointless for The Miz to have won the title on Tuesday only to lose it to Zayn on Sunday when they could have just kept it on Ziggler who would also most likely have retained the belt. I can’t see the title going to raw as then there are 2 mid-card titles on raw and none on smackdown. And they wouldn’t make a new one. The only way Zayn wins is if he then gets drafted to smackdown after the show, but again why have Miz win
Brian kendrick vs kalisto: Cruiserweight championship match
This match has the added stipulation that if kalisto wins the entire division will move to Smackdown. That won’t happen. It’s more likely that kalisto will move to raw. My reasoning for this is that Raw struggles to fill 3 hours already so getting rid of an entire division would just make things harder. Also Brian kendrick’s reign hasn’t been very long this far, Kalisto hasn’t been built up properly and tjp is still owed a rematch. (Kalisto seems like fodder while TJ recovers from a neck injury, although they have cooled on TJ a little) but this could surprisingly be the best match on the card.
Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar.
I personally think this is only the second match these two will have after their match at wrestlemania twenty, twelve years ago now. Goldberg won that match so that makes me think Brock will win and they’ll have a rubber match. As to the actual quality of the match… that’s a bit harder to say. Their previous match was a slogging long affair that killed the raucous 2004 crowd. Goldberg has never been the best worker and Brock has been carried through many of his matches. They also have a very similar style, one I don’t think makes for a compelling match. But I think Brock will win regardless as he has a busier schedule with the company.
